Settings and Preferences.

tip-tip™ comes with a couple of settings that will allow you to customize it, so you can make it work the way you want.

From the Settings app you can change the keyboard layout, change the default tip increment, round the total bill or enable tax exclusion from the tipping calculation.

• + Can I round the total bill?

  Yes, tip-tip™ allows you to round up the total amount of the final bill by adding the difference to the given tip. This option is available on the Preferences page of the application, located under: Settings > tip-tip > Round.

• + Can I exclude the Tax?

  Yes, tip-tip™ allows you to exclude the Tax from the tipping calculation. To activate this option, go to the Preferences page of the application, located under: Settings > tip-tip > Tax Exclusion. After that, tap the main visor of the calculator and enter the tax percentage using the keyboard.

• + What about decimals and currencies?

  The max and min number of decimals as well as the type of currency used by tip-tip™ are automatically detected from the current locale of your iPod or iPhone. If you need to change your locale, go to: Settings > General > International > Region Format.

• + "Calculator" or "Number Pad"?

  That is up to you! tip-tip™ offers you 2 different keyboards layout, and the only difference is the position of numbers. You can change the layout at any time, by changing the "Keyboard Layout" option located on the Preferences page of the application, located under: Settings > tip-tip > Keyboard Layout.
